If you follow me over on Instagram, you may have heard that my parents bought a new house! They won’t be moving in for a while, though, because it’s a total gut job. I’ll refer to it as “Serenity Drive” for now until my parents come up with a true name. I thought it would be fun to show you the “before” pictures that we’ll be able to refer back to as progress gets made on the house!
Now, let me make something VERY clear. My parents bought this place for the land. It sits on roughly 17 acres and is next to my uncle’s property which is another 28 acres. They have rolling hills with plenty of trees on their entire property. It really is a drive into serenity.

So what do y’all think? Are my parents crazy? Well my husband and I, along with my brother, are walking right along side them, so call the whole family nuts! We’ve been having a lot of fun doing demo, which you’ve probably been seeing on my Instagram stories.
I’ll start working on a blog post with an update on where we are in demo, but I wanted to get this post up for you all to see! There is also a basement not pictured, but there’s not much down there right now. Do you want to see ho much work we’ve done?
