Merry Christmas Eve friends!! Can you believe we’re already to Christmas? I will say that it seemed to come faster than usual this year and if I must confess, I still haven’t finished all of my baking. I will tonight though, promise!

Since Christmas decorations will be coming down later this week, I figured I’d give you a quick Christmas home tour of what I have come up with this Christmas. My decor is always changing year to year, so I think it will be fun to have record of it to compare in the future. So, let’s start with the first room in the house, our kitchen!
If you’ve been following along, my buffet will look very familiar. This year it is the only part of our kitchen that I really decorated, but I really love it! I mean, how can you not love a good twinkling lights piece??
Next we walk through the kitchen into our living room. This is where most of the magic happens around here, and I love how comfy cozy it feels!
For our mantel this year I feel like I have a lot going on, but it works! This year I added these adorable white houses from Us Young’s. I think I’m actually going to buy another set and leave them up all winter! They’re very neutral, so I think they are going to be perfect. You’ll just have to stay tuned 🙂
As you may have gathered by now, we do not have a dining room, so our dining room table is right next to our fireplace. It makes for some very festive meals around here!
I found these adorable milk glass vases at Trove of Portage. Milk glass has become my latest collection obsession and these fit perfectly with my tablescape this year, as I really wanted to keep it simple. My table runner is actually a scarf that I folded up! I love incorporating things I already have into my decor, and let me tell you, it saves so much money!
We get a real Christmas tree every year and I WISH you could smell it through your computer or phone. Seriously, I love the pine smell that permeates through our house every Christmas. It brings me back to my childhood where my parents always got the most beautiful tree.
We got this new TV console from Menards and we are loving it. Find a similar one here. It actually cranks out a lot of heat which is amazing in our cold Michigan winters. Next month I’ll post on it more, because holy smokes you HAVE to see the difference. You’ll fall in love with this one even more than you are right now 🙂
And look at this coziness! I love coming home at night to this view. Add in a Hallmark Christmas movie and I have no idea how I even leave!
I think our little shelves turned out so cute and you KNOW I had to include our message board. Although it seems to take forever to find the proper letters, I love changing this up to reflect whichever season or mood we are in.
My parents have a beautiful Christmas Village and we are beginning to build our own. It may be small now, but we are growing it piece by piece. It is one of our traditions that we made together.
The next room in the house is our guest bedroom. 99% of the room is a complete dumping zone. It has all of the home decor that I took down to add Christmas and it is our place to hide other things that we just aren’t using right now. But, the one place that I am prepared to show to the world is my desk.
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my dad made this desk for me. I still love it just as much as I did when we designed it during my teen years. It is the one piece in our guest bedroom that I try to keep organized.
This has to be one of my favorite Christmas candles from Kalamazoo Candle Company! It really does smell like a tree covered in sugar!
I was even able to bring some Christmas into our newly renovated bathroom. If you missed that post on that, head on over here!
And lastly, the master bedroom. The bedspread that we have has a natural Christmas vibe to is, so I didn’t have to do much to make it more festive.
All I did was add a little garland from Hobby Lobby and ta-da! Christmas has arrived in the bedroom!
These little trees were also a Hobby Lobby find and they’re the perfect amount of holiday if you ask me 🙂
So if you’ve hung around for this entire tour, I sincerely thank you. Starting my blog this year has been so much fun and I can’t express enough how much it means that you spent part of your day here with me. I wish you all the merriest of Christmases with your loved ones and I look forward to sharing more Beau Place Like Home with you in the new year.
Merry Christmas to you all!
