Friday Favorites – @calling_allcreators

Happy Friday! We made it 🙂 It seemed a little touch and go there for a minute, so pat yourself on the back for making it. Today I want to start a new series called “Friday Favorites.” Every Friday I am going to share with you one of my favorite Instagrammers/Bloggers. I have so much fun perusing through IG and have found so much inspiration in my own home. Maybe through these Friday Favorites you will find some inspiration of your own! So let’s get started with my friend, Holly, from @calling_allcreators!

Holly is pretty much the QUEEN of DIYs. She is constantly doing inexpensive projects in her home – and she even says that anyone can do them. Although come on, look at that stenciling! Not sure I would have the patience to do that, but it looks fantastic!

Above is Holly’s latest masterpiece. Would you believe that the subway tile above the sink was made using a sharpie?? I recently did sharpie shiplap based on her recommendation. It really is easy and so so so cost efficient! I am also loving that wall decal!

Speaking of wall decals, look at this wallpaper in her kitchen! Seriously though, the dark cabinets paired with the moody wallpaper is perfect. However, do you notice that it doesn’t feel too dark in here? The sharpie shiplap on the far wall paired with natural light makes her kitchen dreamy!

If I had to describe Holly’s decorating style I would call it “Moody Boho.” Is that a thing? No, probably not. But it’s what I would call it! She does such a great job a mixing dark paint with light decor. None of her pictures feel dark, and yet they have so much dimension to them.

Holly recently partnered with Well Woven Rugs to incorporate this abstract, southwestern rug in her bedroom. The hats on the wall add to the southwestern vibe in here, while the plants soften the space for a more peaceful vibe.

Another thing I love about Holly is watching her stories. It is so easy to see how wonderful of a person she is – and not to mention an amazing mother! Her son Huck is always popping up on her stories and it is the cutest thing! I have a feeling Holly and I would be great friends even in real life.
