Well folks, it’s finally here! Our final baby girl nursery reveal! This room has been so much fun to put together. We’re less than week out from our due date, so no time like the present to work on the finishing touches 🙂 I wish I had a true “before” photo, but I guess a partial will have to do. This small room used to be where we kept Baxter’s kennel and most of my husband’s clothes. It had awful blue walls and a disgusting carpet that the previous owners had glued to hardwood floors.
We painted the walls, ripped out the carpet, refinished the hardwood floors, and added a new light fixture. Now I’m in LOVE with this room, where I used to hate it. Baby girl borderline has the best room in the house – even if it is tiny!

The very first thing I bought for this room was our Well Woven rug. It is a gorgeous color and so so soft! The very last things to get added to her room were her dresser, side table and shelf. I wish I had a link for you on those, but those were custom built by my dad. Grandpa’s first gift to baby girl. He has build most of my furniture including my dressers, mirror, night stands, and desk. I know these will be family heirloom pieces for years to come!
I got bored one day during this quarantine and did an accent wall of sharpie shiplap. I think it really gives the room depth and a little something special. Plus, the project didn’t cost me a dime, which my husband liked!
One of the earlier products that I purchased for this space were these adorable prints that I found on Etsy. I loved the simplicity as well as supporting a small business. They were sent to me in PDF form and I just got them printed at my local Meijer. We were lucky enough to have gotten this convertible crip as a hand-me-down from friends. It just required a little TLC and it is ready for lots more years of love.
This room is ready for Baby Beau whenever she decides to make her appearance. I do have to say, I feel really good for being 39 weeks pregnant. Like almost too good. From everything I’ve heard from friends I should be feeling ready to burst by now, so I’m thinking she’ll be a little late. We’ll see though – I’m sure she has a mind of her own already. We joke that she’ll be a stubborn Dutch woman from the start.
Again, make sure to head over to this page if you’re interested in seeing any of the products/sources that we used in her room. Everything linked is what we personally have and love! Once she gets here I’ll be sure to link some of the other products that she likes such as swings, seats, toys, etc. The countdown to Baby Beau is on!
Baby girl has a beautiful room…congratulations to you both ❤️
Thank you so much Joan!
