Friday Favorites – Kid Spaces I’m Loving!

With Baby Girl Beauchamp coming in just a few short months, some of my favorite things to look at on Pinterest and Instagram are kids playrooms. We don’t have a great space in our current house to put one, but you never know what will happen down the road. Today for my Friday Favorites I wanted to share some amazing inspo pics!

Kid's Play Space

This would be such an easy, but impactful DIY to add to a playroom. I love that Brittany from @ellisonmade created a house outline on this wall. If we stay in our current home for a while, I know the exact wall in our basement that I’d like to add this.

Kid's Playroom

One thing that is very important to any kids playroom is to have books easily accessible. Not only do I love the simplicity of Miranda’s playroom, but I love the bright organization she brings. Check out her fun blog post on 5 tips for an organized playroom here.

Basement Kids Playroom

Sarah Joy Blog is one of my favorite blogging pleasures, and this adorable kids space is no different. I promise my child will have a tent someday. I’ve been eyeing some cute ones on Amazon from TinyLand 🙂 What I really love about this space is that it is a corner of her basement, not a true designated room. In our home, this type of setup would be our only option.

Kids Art Space

I love love love that Dear Lillie Studio added a designated art space into this kid’s playroom. This cute little house would probably be an easy DIY for my husband and dad.

Another one of my favorite bloggers is Sarah from graceinmyspace.com. Sarah recently created this kid’s playroom packed with TONS of DIYs. I love the skinny furring strips she used for an accent wall, and you know I love the organization she added. And have you ever thought of painting your ceiling teal? I’ll definitely consider it in the future!

This simple, blush themed art station is even equipped with a chandelier! Those little planter buckets are a great idea to store crayons, markers, glue, and other art supplies.

As a child I really loved playing in my pretend kitchen. Jenna from @blessedhouseoffive redid this adorable play kitchen and you have to head over to the post to see the “before.” She makes me want to keep my eyes open for a cheap play kitchen to do a makeover on!

Any other mamas our there feel their creative wheels spinning? One of my biggest goals in life is to create a home that my family and friends feel 100% comfortable. Now that we’re growing our family, I can’t wait to create a more family friendly space.
