Hello there! Happy Friday and almost weekend! Actually, it’s already my weekend. As I publish this, I’m in the car on my way down to Cedar Point! In just a few hours I’ll be soaring through the sky, screaming at the top of my lungs while enjoying some awesome roller coasters! If you’ve never been to Cedar Point, head over to my Instagram page and check out my stories! I’ll try to bring you all along with me.
So anyway, you came here for home decor, not a rambling about my vacation. Today I’m showing you a pretty spring tablescape that I came up with out of boredom. All of the pieces I had in the house already, so it cost me $0. I think tablescapes are so fun to do, and even when they’re simple (like mine always are), they look like you put in a lot of effort!
Like I said, everything that I used for this pretty spring tablescape was something I already had in the house. The first thing I knew was that I wanted to use fresh flowers as the anchor for the table. My husband had brought these home for me when I was having a rough day, and I loved the bright colors! They really were the inspiration for this whole setup.
I also love the way the black lanterns pop against the whites and soft pastels. Plus, how cute are those little succulents inside? I got those from Trader Joe’s and I am proud to announce that they are still alive and flourishing! Slowly but surely I am adding more live plants into our home.
Does anyone else have a dog that always seems to get in the shot? Oh well, I think it might actually make the scene just a little bit cuter 🙂
I hope I inspired you to get your own spring tablescape together. It doesn’t have to be extravagant or expensive. If you put one together, make sure to tag me on either Facebook or Instagram so that I can see it! I’d love to share some of my favorites!
