I’m not big on decorating for Valentine’s Day, but my daughter Emery LOVES hearts. When we get ready for bed she says, “Heart Jammies” so I’ll put on her pajamas with hearts on them. I figured a few hearts thrown around the house will make her smile, which is the best gift I can receive as a mom. I really loved my winter mantle (you can see that HERE), but I may love this fun Valentine’s Day mantle just as much!
I made sure to incorporate my milk glass collection that was given to me by my husband’s grandmother, and I wanted to make sure to keep candles around. To me, candles are just so cozy and here in Michigan we need all the cozy we can get during the winter. The red ones are real, and the white ones are my favorite faux taper candles.

I can’t wait until Emery gets home from Grandma’s house and sees the hearts! She’s going to love it. It’s so fun to see her eyes light up at changes I make. And want to know a secret? I already had all of these decorations – and most are from the dollar store 😉
Are you planning on doing any decorations for Valentine’s Day? Even small changes can make a big impact!
